SkillsUSA is a national organization serving nearly 250,000 high schools, college students and professional members who are enrolled in training programs in technical, skilled and service occupations. Through SkillsUSA, students can gain self-esteem, pride in their work, leadership and professional development skills to help them make a smooth transition from school to the workplace.

| SkillsUSA State of Connecticut Competition Results
Friday, March 22, 2024 was the State of Connecticut SkillsUSA Competitions. We had 21 students competing this year. They all did a wonderful job with their competitions and should be very proud of all they accomplished. Please be sure to congratulate them on their achievements. O’Brien will be sending 6 students to the National Competition to be held in Atlanta, GA this June. Please consider participating in the SkillsUSA fundraisers that will be upcoming. They are to help support these first place winners as they are now going to represent the State of Connecticut in their competitions. We are so very proud of all the students that attended the competition and worked so hard to showcase their technical skills and knowledge of their trades! Go Condors! |
