Carpentry Freshmen Shine in Exploratory

In the four day exploratory program at Emmett O’Brien in the carpentry shop the freshman built a small wall cabinet. This project requires that they have to use the table saw, router ruler and the door machine. The students do all their own measurements and cuts along with installing the hinges and door latch. This project gives the students a real life opportunity to see what a carpenter does in a cabinet shop.
